Our commitment
Our goals for a more sustainable future
Sustainability has been at the heart of the SOL Group’s strategy since its foundation. The Group believes that its growth is closely connected to the growth of the world in which it operates.
In 2015, the United Nations launched the 2030 Agenda, an international initiative aimed at aligning countries’ development efforts around 17 shared Sustainable Development Goals to be achieved by 2030.
Recognising sustainable growth as a fundamental priority, the SOL Group is committed to turning the principles of sustainable development into concrete actions and projects, with the aim of creating long-term value for the Group, its people, its clients, the community and the environment.

The SOL Group has always invested in the well-being of its people, promoting a merit-based and inclusive working environment founded on the principles of equality and equal opportunities, where collaboration and listening are considered essential.
Our commitment to the health and safety of our employees is supported by extensive training, regular inspections, internal checks and investment in equipment and resources, but above all by the cooperation of everyone across the Group.
Through its Code of Ethics, the SOL Group shares with all its people the principles that guide everyone across the SOL Group in adopting and putting into practice behaviours that reflect the Group’s identity and values.

Putting clients and patients at the heart of what we do is a key priority. The Group aims to anticipate their needs by driving innovation in products and services, while ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
In the industrial sector, highly innovative and technologically advanced solutions deliver safer, more cost-effective and environmentally friendly performance.
In the healthcare sector, our wide range of services, equipment and plants for hospitals, together with our home care services for patients, puts people’s care at the heart of what we do.
In the biotechnology sector, innovative diagnostic products support the prevention and early detection of potential health problems, making a significant contribution to people’s quality of life and treatment.
The SOL Group ensures the traceability of its products and medical devices, enabling them to be located immediately and allowing timely action to be taken in the event of any issues.

The Group works to reduce energy consumption and emissions by offering highly effective and efficient oxyfuel combustion solutions, which are widely used in metal, ceramics and cement production processes.
By developing on-site production plants (plants built directly at the client’s site and remotely managed) for oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and syngas mixtures, we can provide a lower-impact solution that reduces road transport and optimises energy consumption.
The Group helps protect water resources by providing industrial clients with services to improve wastewater quality, using oxygen in water treatment processes.
It promotes sustainable mobility by investing in the development of technological solutions using hydrogen and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), including renewable sources such as BioLNG.
It contributes to reducing food waste and protecting consumer safety by using preservative-free food freezing systems and promoting modified and controlled atmosphere technologies that help preserve the sensory characteristics of food products.
The Group invests in plants that recover carbon dioxide that would otherwise be released into the atmosphere.
In healthcare, the Group also works to reduce its environmental impact through the digitalisation of accounting documents and reporting, as well as the optimisation of stock levels.
This is supported by management systems that can also monitor the preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance of all devices.

CryoSol Truck: the new frontier of sustainable transport
By first studying potential technological solutions in theory and then testing them in the field, SOL developed CryoTruck, a refrigeration system that harnesses the thermodynamic properties of liquid nitrogen to generate cooling in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way.
