Our Commitment
Sustainability has been at the heart of the SOL Group’s strategy since its foundation. The Group’s approach integrates sustainability into its planning and control systems and, consequently, into the management of functions related to its business activities.

Our people
Creating a supportive working environment is essential for a company like SOL, which aims to attract both young talent and people with more extensive experience, while making everyone feel part of a broader, shared project and helping them develop their expertise and knowledge.
Renewable Energy
Electricity consumption at primary production plants represents the most significant environmental impact. Both gas compression and liquefaction are highly energy intensive processes, and these activities are estimated to account for around 90% of the Group’s total energy consumption.

The SOL Group has adopted an integrated approach to managing Quality, Health & Safety and the Environment, ensuring that all its activities are covered while maximising synergies.
The Reporting System
The SOL Group’s first Sustainability Statement, prepared in accordance with Legislative Decree 125/24, was approved by the Board of Directors of SOL S.p.A. on 27 March 2025. For the first time, sustainability information became an integral part of the Management Report, as required by Legislative Decree 125/24, which transposes the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) into Italian law.
