Sustainability

Our goals for a more sustainable future

Our commitment

Sustainability has been central to the SOL Group's strategy since its foundation. In fact, the Group believes that its growth is closely linked to the growth of the world in which it operates.

28,824

Our people

Creating a favourable working environment is an essential requirement for a company like SOL, which aims to attract the talent of younger people as well as those with more consolidated experience, in the hopes of making everyone feel like part of a broad and shared project, in order to foster their know-how and knowledge.

Energy from renewable sources

The Group's most significant environmental impact is the electricity consumption in its primary production plants. In fact, both the compression of gases and their liquefaction are highly energy-intense operations: it is estimated that these activities constitute about 90% of the energy consumption of the whole Group.

Certifications

The SOL Group has chosen to organise its Quality, Safety and Environmental Management System in an integrated way in order to guarantee coverage of all its activities, emphasising synergies.

The Reporting System

The first Sustainability Report (formerly Legislative Decree 125/24) of the SOL Group was approved by the Board of Directors of SOL Spa on March 27, 2025. For the first time, sustainability information has become an integral part of the Management Report, as required by Legislative Decree 125/24, which transposes the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive).

The Consolidated Sustainability Report is available along with previous editions of the Sustainability Report.
